Who is EWOCC for?

While anyone is welcomed to attend the Empowering Womxn of Color Conference (EWOCC), it is a space that intentionally prioritizes the experiences, voices and bodies of womxn* of color. At the discretion of the facilitators, some workshops maybe marked as #closedspaces for women of color exclusively. We ask that all attendees move through EWOCC cognizant of the conference’s intersectional nature and mindful of the ways we share in and contribute to the overall experience.

*EWOCC uses womxn to describe all who experience life through the lens of womxn in body, spirit, identity past, present, future and fluid.

    Hi there,

As a black man, I support and encourage the aims of your conference. I understand, however, that this may not be exactly the space or time for my voice or presence.
I purchased a two-day (on-line) full ticket, and I hope that it will allow someone to attend who otherwise might not be able.

Anyone from the planning team can reach out to me, if needed.

    1. Dear Stevan,
Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness! We will be sure to use your donated ticket to support a womxn/femme of color’s cost of attendance. While we would appreciate you not participating in the online workshops, you are more than welcome to join us at this site on Saturday & Sunday to watch our live stream.
      With utmost gratitude,
      EWOCC planning committee
